Golden Corral on South Road (Route 9) in the Town of Poughkeepsie has once again closed its doors and the building has been placed on the market for the second time in the past four years.
The restaurant first opened early in 2017 before it was closed down following myriad of issues with both management, employees, and customers. Golden Corral then reopened late in 2018 under new ownership, before the COVID-19 pandemic struck, causing financial hardships.
With restaurants forced into strict restrictions during the pandemic, Golden Corral was unable to reopen, and signs have been erected outside the building on South Road announcing that it is for sale.
